I feel so blessed to have been given the opportunity to take refuge in America. A place of freedom and democracy. After serving in the Army for 27 years, I retired to fight for the betterment of our communities. Now, I face a new battle. A battle to fix the injustices that plague our people. Battle that will bring true representation. No longer will our people be left behind by inaction, injustice or ignorance. I will protect everyone’s rights.
