Sec. Austin Fires at GOP Senator for Promotion Block

Last month, dozens of red states passed laws limiting access to abortions after Roe v Wade was overturned last year. In response to those states, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced that the pentagon would cover travel costs for service members seeking abortions and up to 21 days off. Protesting this pentagon policy, Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville decided to block 160 senior military promotions.
