COVID-19 cases are popping up in China’s Hainan Province. The province is home to Sanya city—a popular seaside vacation spot. But for over a week, the area has been under what the authorities call "static management"—a policy basically equivalent to lockdown orders. Official data says about 150,000 tourists are affected province-wide, with over half of them in Sanya.
