Man Face Plants Into Deep Snow—Looks Delighted

Petr Svab
Katherine Horrocks documented the delight of her husband Richard as he jumped into several feet of snow on Wednesday, Feb. 28, in Oldham, England. Richard balanced on a pole before throwing himself into the white stuff in front of him, which swallows him up. “We took the children and dog for a long walk and had so much fun,” said Horrocks. Oldham, a city northeast of Manchester, seldom sees freezing temperatures, but this week the "Beast from the East" cold snap brought frost and snow to much of the country. Moreover, the Beast from the East has combined with Storm Emma causing even more severe weather. Some coastal areas were told to evacuate and many were stranded in trains and cars during travel, at times prompting the military to rescue them, The Telegraph reported Credit: Katherine Horrocks via Storyful
