Shen Yun Wraps Up 2019 Run at Lincoln Center in New York

Mark Liu
Shen Yun Performing Arts has wrapped up its 2019 run at Lincoln Center in New York, after 11 sold out days in March of visually stunning energetic performances. "It was fantastic," said Rosanna Lamarre, a former professional dancer. "Visually stunning. I was blown away by the professionalism and the artistry of the dancers. The synchronization was amazing." "The lines were just fantastic," said Lamarre. "The costumes really blew us away. I couldn’t take my eyes off of the stage. The dancers were just so fluid, so beautiful. It was a wonderful experience for myself and my daughter." "I have to say the visual of the costumes were just amazing," she said. "The fluidity, the performance with the scarves was just outstanding. The synchronization. There was no one that was not in-tune. All of the dancers, all of the movements were so sharp, so precise. It looked like one movement. It was really wonderful." Positive Energy "The dancers are so energetic, and so positive, and you look at their faces and they’re smiling, it’s just a beautiful thing to see, said Anthony Cognetti, vice president at Compass Marketing. "Amazing energy," said Meghan Gibbons, vice president of a large multi-national bank. "You could just tell these people have devoted their life to the performance and to the dance, and to be in front of an audience, and it’s absolutely amazing." "The level of skill, and also the passion from the dancers," said Gibbons. "You could see the level of talent and the devotion that they’ve put in, in terms of the time, and just to get to the level of skill that they’re at right now. "So I loved absolutely everything, and also the storyline too, so it’s the music coupled with the dance coupled with the storyline, it really kind of leaves you with an experience." Shen Yun will be back to New York next year, with all new stories expressed through music and dance to entertain and inspire audience members. "I enjoy the pageantry, the color, the dance, the grace, the music," said Monty Sedlak, director at Jacobs Engineering Group. "It’s very inspiring." NTD News, New York
