Bradley Z. Caruk is the Executive Vice President, Principle Creative Director of Eagle Vision Entertainment Studio, and a Senior art director of Walt Disney Imagineering. He saw Shen Yun at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida, on March 15, and felt the importance of keeping the traditions alive. "I think culture should never be lost, and it's very important that we rejoice and keep that momentum moving and make sure the history is always remembered," said Caruk. He found it unfortunate to know that Shen Yun is not allowed to perform in China. "I know the different laws in China versus the rest of the world, and it's really too bad that such history isn't allowed to be shown in a dance performance like this in China and that's unfortunate," Caruk added. "It’s very unfortunate, but maybe at some point in the future, China will be more accepting to bring this back," said Beverly Cox, Vice President of Human Resources at Octapharma. Shen Yun’s mission is to revive traditional Chinese culture, and audience members expressed their appreciation of this. "I think that's really needed," said Caruk. "We see how the legends and the old history, how it still applies to today and what's happening today. Moving forward it's important that we remember these things." "The real inspiration that we come out of the show with, is how parallel we all are as human beings trying to find our destiny, and our origins, and our belief in a supreme being and all of that," said Jeff Mayworm, Command Pilot of NetJets. "And to think that you are trying to revive this culture, and not revive it, but preserve it for future generations," Mayworm added. "I just hope that your message gets through to the vast majority of Chinese people, that we love them, we feel the same spiritual identity with them. And that there isn't any human force that can destroy the spiritual heart of humans." NTD News, Orlando, Florida
