2018 is nearing its final days and the spotlight is on the wall. Over the year, the migrant caravan and the record number of family units crossing the border dominated the media. Illegal activity on the southwest border has increased, and President Trump trying to patch the holes in the system, turned away by federal judges. Even the already-fraught humanitarian crisis was injected with hysteria by major media outlets, in attempts to discredit Trump. Like MSNBC using footage of border patrol—from the Obama administration—destroying containers of water left by humanitarians, and letting their viewers assume they’re current.
