KFC closes most of its UK stores due to chicken shortage
Fastfood chain KFC closed hundreds of its stores in UK on Feb. 19, due to a shortage of chicken.
The problem arose over the weekend after KFC switched its delivery contract to DHL.
The switch forced the majority of KFC’s 900 stores to shut down.
DHL blamed the delivery delays on "operational issues."
Customers have mixed reactions to the closure of the KFC stores.
DHL said they are working with KFC and their partners to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
