On March 20, Adnan Nasrat spent 24 hours underwater.
The Jordan diver was in the Gulf of Aqaba about 16 feet below the water level.
He was monitored by a team of divers who would stay with him for 50 minutes each.
While down there, he was able to eat, drink, and sleep.
"He trained on consuming slowly processed protein for night time, band high-energy protein during daytime to increase and maintain his energy level and body temperature,” said nutrition expert and fitness trainer Khaled Khater.
The biggest challenge for him was keeping warm.
Nasrat wanted to prove to himself that it was possible to live underwater.
His next goal is to stay underwater for 6 days.
