PCE Inflation: Biggest Annual Gain Since 1991

Some economists thought the Fed would become more proactive about tightening monetary policy and fighting inflation at Friday's meeting, but Chairman Jerome Powell says it's keeping its easy money policies in place—at least for now. Officials say they’re willing to let inflation run hot until the labor market shows more signs of recovery. NTD spoke with Robert Genetzki, author of "Rich Nation, Poor Nation," about his thoughts.
