Playful Modern Calligraphy

I am spending some time looking at Modern Calligraphy variations as I film my Prerequisite Videos. Looking at what is out there and trying to reproduce it with 2 or 3 of the holds I see people using has shown me so much as to why modern calligraphy enthusiasts approach the scripts the way they do. I then look at how I would approach the script using my PAScribe Tool Hold, which is a completed different and higher hold which give more dexterity and space to move in and around. My aim is always smoothness of letter, lightness of line, contrast of thick and thins and as little shaking or trembling in the lines. Having an alternate and sympathetic small caps alphabet to go with the script letters is also critical as it gives a clearer set for post codes and house numbers, where clarity is essential.
