The Biden administration is now officially withdrawing the vaccine mandate for businesses with more than 100 employees. 27 Republican states and a coalition of businesses challenged the mandate in court. These lawsuits would have likely won under the Supreme Court decision so the administration's move to withdraw the vaccine mandate could be seen as its ultimate solution to those many legal challenges. One day after the states of Washington, Indiana, Texas and D.C. sued Google for secretly collecting users’ location data, the company lost its bid to end a lawsuit by the State of Arizona that alleged the same violation. About 50,000 people in Brussels, Belgium gathered in the streets to protest against the government's pandemic prevention policy. The crowd protested with slogans such as "We want to be free again" and "No COVID slave ticket".
