Democrats are calling for stronger gun control in the wake of Tuesday's mass shooting in Texas. Debates have been swirling around how these mass shooting tragedies can and could have been avoided. It's when emotions are raw that it's easy to jump to conclusions with knee-jerk reactions. One thing that is undeniable is that there has been a dramatic uptick in mass shootings over the past 30 years, yet people still had easier access to the same types of guns prior to 1990. NTD spoke with Rick Green, founder of Patriot Academy, to assess some of the possibilities as to why we are seeing these upticks.
