London Trip - VLOG Day 1

This trip took place way before the pandemic, so no worries I'm just at home at the moment. While I can't travel physically, I can still do it virtually down the memory lane. This video is a part of my London trip vlog series. Enjoy watching and remember, STAY HOME! :-) We arrived pretty early in London and as soon as we touched down, we got ourselves a cup of coffee and some bread from Monmouth Coffee. I got an almond croissant and a brioche. πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Monmouth Coffee 27 Monmouth Street, West End, London Then, I went to Feya, a cute floral cafe in Marylebone. I ordered mermaid smoothie which was made from banana, dragonfruit, zucchini, and spirulina. This was not my favorite, as I found the taste too seaweed-y. I also got pink oats with caramel chia pudding, mashed rose raspberries, banana flowers and rose petals which was quite good. It also looked very pretty! πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Feya 23 James St, Marylebone, London I headed to Soho to walk around and drank green tea with cream cheese crown at Happy Lemon. I know it may sound weird for some people, but cream cheese foam on tea is delicious! After that I went to Mamason's Dirty Ice Cream to have a Filipino's dessert called halo-halo. This one is similar to Indonesian's es campur, but instead it is topped with ube ice cream which was yummy...I love it! πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Happy Lemon 24A Newport Ct, Chinatown, Londo πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Mamason's Dirty Ice Cream 32 Newport Ct, West End, London After that, I went to explore the Covent Garden, had a hot pie with three cheeses and onion at The Battersea Pie Station which was pretty good. πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ The Battersea Pie Station 28 The Market, Covent Garden, London I was pretty full at this point, so I just went to Trafalgar Square, walked around and did some shopping. In the evening, I went out again to Soho (Chinatown) and got 2 mini Chinese buns: Chicken bun with liver pate and miso + pig bun with sticky chasiu BBQ and yam. They are wonderful! I especially loved the pig bun. After that we queued for 1.5 hours for a dinner at Hoppers, a popular Sri Lankan restaurant. The dinner was good, though I am not sure if I would queue again for that long. πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈBun House 26-27 Lisle St, West End, London πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Hoppers 49 Frith St, Soho, London Last supper bite we got before heading to our AirBnB was a gelato from Dezato. We got lemon curd & clementine + roasted corn! πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Dezato 53 Charlotte St, Fitzrovia, London --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CHECK OUT MY INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/wasabbie/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About Sabbie I am an ordinary girl with an extraordinary passion for cooking, eating, and traveling.
