Lantern Festival is called Yuan Xiao Jie meaning Yuan Xiao Festival (元宵節) in Chinese. It falls on the 15th day of the 1st month on the Lunar Calendar and this year it’s on February 19th, 2019. The Lantern Festival officially marks the last day of the Lunar New Year celebration. And just like the New Year, it is one of the most celebrated holidays across Asia.
