The COVID-19 public inquiry has asked to see Boris Johnson’s WhatsApp messages when he was prime minister, alongside communications with other senior officials. NTD heard from overseas Chinese who’ve stepped out in the UK to support a protester known as the "bridge man." In a rare sign of protest in China, the man hung banners on a bridge in Beijing in protest of Xi Jinping’s policies, and was soon arrested.
