Report: Japan, Netherlands to Join US in Restricting Chip Equipment Exports to China

China's access to semiconductors could soon take yet another hit, as Japan and the Netherlands reached an agreement with the United States in restricting exports of some advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment to the communist country, according to a report by Bloomberg on Jan. 27.
