STAMP day 1 - MIT's new process analysis method for safety

S
STEM Today
Hello!! This is the STAMP Workshop provided by MIT on a free attendance basis for the purposes of engineering a safer world. It is the next evolution in Hazard and Failure Analysis. It has two parts to it - STPA for evaluating issues prior to implementation and CAST for after an incident happens. From auto manufacturing, aviation, medical and food production, STPA can be performed on any process that needs to run more efficiently, safer and more cost effective. Pause the video for reading comments. This keeps the video short. More information can be found here: http://psas.scripts.mit.edu/home/2021-stamp-workshop-information/ The STPA Handbook is here: https://psas.scripts.mit.edu/home/get_file.php?name=STPA_handbook.pdf If one wishes to inquire more about Nancy Leveson: http://sunnyday.mit.edu/ Disclaimer: I attended this free conference by MIT. It is not my material. It is presented here for educational purposes per Fair Use Act seen here: https://www.multiplechronicconditions.org/fair-use-act-disclaimer While MIT has had to provide Closed Caption, I do not work for them and am not required to do so. Consult their Youtube page for that functionality.
