NTD News Today (Jan. 25): ‘Pelosi Act’ Aims to Prevent Congress From Stock Trading; 20 States Sue Over Migrant Parole Program

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) wants to stop lawmakers and their spouses from trading stocks. He introduced a bill called the Pelosi Act to do just that on Jan. 24. Twenty states are suing the Biden administration for its new migrant parole program. The Republican states, along with the America First Legal group, say the program that allows up to 30,000 migrants into the United States every month is unlawful. After three deadly shootings in California, President Joe Biden on Jan. 24 urged Congress to pass gun control legislation.
