International Religious Freedom Summit Featuring Pelosi, Blinken, Pompeo, Rubio

The International Religious Freedom (IRF) Summit 2022 brings together a broad coalition that supports religious freedom around the globe for a three-day in-person event in Washington on June 28–30. Wednesday’s summit features Plenary 1 of “Why International Religious Freedom Matters in the Modern World” from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET. This session will reveal the critical overlap between religious freedom and the major sectors of modern life, concluding with an update on the global campaigns launched by the 2021 IRF Summit. Keynotes are by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Minister Yasonna Laoly. Other speakers include House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Secretary of State Antony Blinken, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and British lawmaker Lord David Alton.
