US Lawmakers Push Bill to Revamp Taiwan Policy

Senate lawmakers are pushing for a bill to revamp Washington’s Taiwan policy.  The bill is bipartisan. Sponsors include senator Bob Menendez, a Democrat, and Senator Lindsey Graham, a republican.  Both senators say the bill would push the most comprehensive restructuring of U.S. policy toward Taiwan in over four decades.
