Its Our Turn A candle overturned A fire burns A world turns All the rain can’t quench its thirst Mud and fire and tangled up wire They’re looking to hire No one is left The government has gone def Welcome to the take down Because we’ve been around Earth is tired of our sound Mother Mary and all the fairies Put the fire out Tell us What is this all about Why oh why have we been taken out She says that water evaporates and returns Life never dies it just takes its turn Like the world turns If you try real hard you can smile at the pain We take our turn There’s a lot to learn At the end is paradise full of colorful flowers and soft ferns Cool breeze, blue seas and lots of love from birds to bees By Minister Peacefulpoet (word witch) 2/14/21
