TOP 10 Coolest Cars Designed by ITALDESIGN 1972 Maserati Boomerang The Maserati Boomerang was a concept car designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro - Founder of Italdesign. It was first revealed at the Turin Auto Show in 1971 as a non-functional model. 1990 Bugatti ID 90 The Bugatti ID 90 concept is a 2-seater, mid-engine, all-wheel-drive supercar debuted at the 1990 Turin Motor Show. This was the first Bugatti designed by Giugiaro. The ID 90 and EB 110 share several similarities, including a similar overall shape and many design elements. 1995 Lamborghini Cala Launched at the 1995 Geneva Motor show, the Lamborghini Cala was an immediate hit. Like many of Italdesign's prototypes, the Cala was a complete and driveable car. 1997 Volkswagen W12 Syncro In 1997, at the Tokyo Motor Show, Volkswagen debuted their first sports car concept, a bright yellow W12 Syncro. The car was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and his Italdesign team at the request of then Volkswagen group CEO Ferdinand Piech. 1997 Alfa Romeo Scighera Constructed by Italdesign in 1997, the Alpha Romeo Schighera was a futuristically styled concept vehicle fully working. Based on the Alfa Romeo 164, the Scighera has an all-aluminum body and a frame structure made of aluminum-carbon fiber composite. 2012 Giugiaro Brivido The Giugiaro Brivido Concept was introduced in 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show. The hybrid sports car was built to celebrate the company's 42nd appearance in Geneva. 2013 Giugiaro Parcour The concept car was unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show to celebrate Italdesign's 45th anniversary. The Parcour is a two-seat car that combines the elements of an SUV, a GT, and a mid-engine sports car. The vehicle was offered in both coupe and roadster configurations. 2018 Italdesign Zerouno Duerta Italdesign Giugiaro celebrated its 50th anniversary by announcing the Zerouno Duerta at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show. The Zerouno Duerta is a Targa version of Zerouno. 2018 Nissan GT-R50 The GT-R50 celebrates the convergence of two key anniversaries; 50 years of Italdesign shaping the automotive world and 50 years of Nissan generating excitement through the iconic GT-R. The design of the bodywork is a result of a collaboration between Italdesign and Nissan. 2019 Italdesign DaVinci The Italdesign DaVinci is an all-electric concept built to pay tribute to Renaissance polymath Leonardo Da Vinci on the 500th anniversary of his death.
