Mike Davis, founder & president of the Internet Accountability Project says Congress has a golden bipartisan opportunity right now to break up the tech titans. He calls anti-trust the “silver bullet” to solve censorship complaints too. He also supports repealing Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, but that’s a harder nut to crack. But Andrew Selepak, professor of social media at the University of Florida, says the problem is a lot more complex than that. Breaking up big tech isn’t so easy and repealing 230 would be a dystopian disaster.
