China, US Hold High-Level Talk on Reducing Tariffs

The White House was working to keep lines of communication open with Beijing. Officials from the U.S. and China spoke earlier this week via video conference. The discussion was between Chinese Vice Premier Liu He and U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen—and mainly focused on one topic: American tariffs on Chinese goods.
