Russian Oil Standoff Tests Limits of EU Unity

EU member states have so far failed in their efforts to pressure Hungary to lift its veto of a proposed oil embargo on Russia. Lithuania said the bloc was being "held hostage by one member state." If imposed, the oil ban would be the harshest sanction yet imposed on Russia over the war in Ukraine.
