Woodturning: The Snow Couple!!

Adamsen Woodcraft
This is the Christmas project I intended for last year and was prevented due to injuries, so I have been planning this project for almost 2 years. I had originally intended to electroform copper onto a pinecone for use as the "tree" but that ultimately failed, and I'm glad it did. I then tried to woodturn a tree using the inside-out concept I used on the snow couple, but it didn't work as I intended. Fortunately for me, this pinecone was a life saver, and it seems to button up the piece well enough. Needless to say, my wife has claimed this piece and it will not be for sale. I hope everyone has a blessed and merry Christmas and holiday season. Thanks for stopping by!!!
