Many may wonder if President Trump and DeSantis could become partners, running together in 2024. Here’s what Trump said. The Supreme Court issued its latest decision, in West Virginia v. EPA, that limits the Environmental Protection Agency's (the EPA’s) authority to set climate change greenhouse gas emission standards for existing power plants. That authority is vested in Congress. Also, the Supreme Court again overturned multiple lower court decisions that had upheld restrictions on pro-gun authority. These include Maryland's ban on assault rifles and the bans on high-capacity magazines in New Jersey and California. Moreover, Supreme Court overturned a lower court decision on whether the White House has the authority to repeal the Trump-era immigration protection agreement, commonly known as the "stay in Mexico" policy. A new Associated Press poll shows that 85% of U.S. adults think that America is on the wrong track.
