Chinese Asylum Seekers Jump 800 Percent in 10 Years

Is China an ideal place to live in? An increasing number of people voted “No” when they sought asylum in foreign countries. Data from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) shows that the number of Chinese asylum seekers increased nearly 8-fold over 10 years, between 2012 and 2021.
