Tulare Lake Floods; Protest over Male Competing in Female Sports | California Today – May 29

Several groups spoke out against males in female competitions at a Central Valley high school. Two transgender athletes dropped out of the race; Tulare Lake is filling up from the winter storms. It's now approaching the size of Lake Tahoe; State regulators are saying electricity shortages won't be a problem this summer. The winter storms have also refilled and restarted hydroelectric power plants. There's been much controversy and back-and-forth on a "queer nun” group's invitation to the Dodger's annual "Pride Night"; It's now cheaper to rent than buy a house in several cities across the state.
