Fentanyl kills an estimated 200 Americans every single day, according to a statistic from a Jan. 25 U.S. House roundtable, which talked about big tech's role in facilitating drug sales to children. At the roundtable, Amy Nevil shared the story of her son who overdosed on fake fentanyl lace pills. Her son would use social media Snapchat to meet with drug dealers, and ask them to directly come to their house for him to buy the drugs without his mother knowing.
