In the final weekend before the election, the picture is starting to become clear, that Republicans will win the majority in the House and the Senate. But the Republicans elected this year, will be a new and completely different set of elites, from the establishment. Not only will they oppose the policies of the far left, they will not support the practices of the establishment. A whole new Republican Party is being born. Police unions have changed their previous support for Democrats, to support Republicans in this year's election. I don't think anyone should be surprised.
