Bipartisan Warning to CCP: No Violent Clampdown on Protests

A bipartisan group of over 40 U.S. senators sent a letter to China’s ambassador to the United States. In it, they warn the Chinese Communist Party against “a violent crackdown on peaceful Chinese protesters.” The letter added that any future crackdowns would cause extraordinary damage to the U.S.–China relationship.
