Jeff Bezos slammed Joe Biden over his tweet calling for gas stations to reduce gasoline prices. The US Oil and Gas Association also shot back in a sarcastic tone mocking Biden's tweet as written by a White House intern who doesn’t understand basic economics. The governor of California, who is suffering from power shortages due to the new green energy policy, called on Florida residents to move to California to enjoy the "freedom." A recent report shows that, as of the first half of 2022, at least 20 states have enacted bills to ban private money from flowing into elections. An outbreak of meningococcal disease in Florida has resulted in at least 26 cases and six deaths. Gay men, HIV carriers and immunocompromised people are the high-risk groups. The CDC has described it as the worst outbreak among gay males in U.S. history.
