Love for Animals

Lately I've been reading a lot of FB posts on animals and birds going missing. I've also been reading a lot about stray dogs/cats (community dogs/cats) on FB. In a small country like Singapore, having so many community dogs/cats is a cause for concern. Just last week, I read a post by a vet that talks about how it's not uncommon to put down community dogs that are healthy. That's even more worrying. Shouldn't the lives of animals be valued as much as human lives?
