Wray’s Non-Compliance of Congressional Subpoena Signals Confidence White House and Attorney General Will Back Him Up: Marc Ruskin

House Republicans are set to hold FBI director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress. That’s over an alleged criminal scheme involving President Biden during his time as vice president. NTD spoke to Marc Ruskin, a retired FBI special agent with over 20 years of experience working in undercover operations, who’s also the author of the book “The Pretender: My Life Undercover for the FBI.” Ruskin said Wray’s decision to neglect the subpoena to hand over the documents alleging the scheme “shows a certain lack of respect for Congress, and perhaps the confidence that director Wray has that he will be backed up by the Attorney General. “So if he feels that the attorney general will back him up and the White House will back him up, he may feel that he can disregard the congressional subpoenas and that there will be no consequences.”
