Jim surprised me with the whole “we’re leaving today” thought this morning. Everything I thought I had on my plate for the day was quickly thrown to the side. We loaded and headed south wjth the first load - Pete & the job trailer and Frank & the header trailer. We spent the first night in Hotel Pete in the parking lot of the old Shopko store in Belle Fourche, SD. Second night was spent in the lot of the Carney Park’s rodeo arena in O’Neill, NE (also In Hotel Pete). We could have gone farther but we know what we have here for the night.
