OFFICER SAVES MAN IN FROZEN RIVER

A man stuck in a frozen canal was saved by a fearless police officer who plunged into the cold water. Andrey Postnikov watched on in astonishment as a man was seen drowning in the frozen Griboedov canal in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Recorded on February 16, Andrey captured the heart-pounding moment a fearless police officer jumped into the frozen river and crawled across the fragile ice in order to save the helpless man. Managing to pull the man out of the freezing waters, the police officer proceeded to take the citizen over to a lowered ladder so they could both escape with their lives.
