Scientists Track Wolf’s Journey out of Radioactive Chernobyl Zone update

A wolf was tracked leaving the radioactive Chernobyl Zone, and travelling 229 miles from its home. This raises questions about mutated genes being spread to outside animal populations. Following the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster, the area remains heavily contaminated. GPS technology was used to track the movement of the young wolf out of the CEZ into the surrounds.
