Thousands of Fish Killed in Darling River, New South Wales

2019-01-10 09:08
Thousands of fish were killed in the Darling River at Menindee in western New South Wales over the weekend of January 5 and January 6. In this video, shared to Facebook by Rob Gregory on January 7, dead fish can be seen all over a waterway. The NSW Department of Primary Industries launched an investigation into the incident and said the mass deaths could have been caused by ongoing drought conditions and a sharp drop in temperature.
