2018-04-03 20:48
Louisiana Coast Guard officers pulled three people out of Bayou Segnette near New Orleans after their boat hit a barge. According to the Advocate, four people were riding in a 22-foot pleasure boat around 4:14 a.m. on November 19, 2017 when the boat collided with a barge and then ran aground. One of the passengers was thrown out of the boat. The barge launched a small boat to recover the person who was thrown from the boat. The Coast Guard sent a helicopter to the scene. One of the passengers was dead. The other three were to West Jefferson Medical Hospital “in serious and critical conditions.”
