Motion approved to begin recount in 3 races

On saturday, the broward county canvassing board approved a motion to start recounts in four races where the difference between the candidates was less than point-five-percent. Machine recounts will be conducted in the races for governor, senate, and agriculture commissioner. In the senate race, republican governor rick scott's lead over democratic senator bill nelson has shrunk to about 12,252 votes, or point-one-five-percent. And in the govenor's race, the difference is about point-four-percent -- republian ron desantis leads democratic tallahassee mayor andrew gillum by 33,693 votes.
