While more than half of China's provinces continue to suffer from floods due to torrential rains, many parts of northeast China are experiencing the worst drought in recent history. In Fuxin City and Jinzhou City of Liaoning Province, large areas of crops have been wiped out and trees are dying due to lack of water.
