Big Tech Back Biden Campaign

N
NTD Videos
According to data from OpenSecrets, big tech companies have been major financial backers of the Biden campaign this election cycle. The nonprofit tracks money in politics and campaign finance records. The top contributor to Biden’s candidate committee is Google parent Alphabet – at nearly $1-point-9-million dollars. Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, and Facebook all made the top ten. OpenSecrets says the contributions come from the companies’ own political action committees, employees, owners, or their immediate family members. No major tech companies made President Trump’s list. Although Microsoft President Brad Smith did make several contributions to the National Republican Congressional Committee. Most of his donations went to Democrats.
