There’s now an app that lets Californians know ahead of time when an earthquake is about to hit. NTD’s Ilene Eng has the story. For the first time, a group of Berkeley researchers came up with a way to warn people with an app ahead of time, when an earthquake is about to occur. It’s called MyShake, and it receives early warning alerts from the joint US Geological Survey and ShakeAlert system.
