A street camera captured the moments a powerful 7.5-magnitude earthquake struck southern Ecuador near the country's border with Peru early Friday morning. Witnesses say they felt strong tremors, some lasting as long as 30-seconds. Ecuador's president says the tremors were felt around the country. There were no initial reports of casualties or damage. Cameras showed people pouring out into the streets when the earthquake hit around 5:15 Friday morning.
