Hundreds of Elementary School Students are Sickened from Food Poisoning

On June 10, Chinese state media reported that hundreds of students in Yucheng County, located in the east of Henan province in China, showed symptoms of food poisoning after having their school lunch. According to their parents, students from several different schools all had fried noodles, provided by the same catering company. A video circulated online showed many students at a hospital, some were getting infusion treatment in the lobby, some were waiting in line, some clasped their stomach with a painful expression. The students appear to be from elementary school.
