JetBlue flight attendant who ditched 60 pounds of cocaine at airport sentenced to time served

JetBlue flight attendant Marsha Reynolds used her flight attendant job to attempt to smuggle 60 pounds of cocaine through Los Angeles International Airport in 2016. The small suitcase was worth nearly $3-million. Reynolds, a six-year employee of the airline, attempted to take advantage of airports lose security protocols when it comes to airline staff. The day she was caught, however, she had been selected for a random security screening by airport police. Upon being randomly selected, the airline hostess dropped her suitcase, threw off her heals and fled the quickly airport. She was arrested two days later in New York. She has been cooperative in reporting drug traffickers to authorities, and as a result a judge on Monday sentenced the 33-year-old to time served. She will remain in custody for another three years before her release.
