2018-12-28 19:43
REMEMBERING 21 YEAR OLD FIREFIGHTER NATALIE DEMPSEY... A CHRISTMAS TREE PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED IN FRONT OF THE MIZPAH VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT...IT WAS BLACK AND PURPLE BUNTING IN HONOR OF A YOUNG LIFE LOST ON CHRISTMAS. NATALIE LEFT HER HOME JUST AFTER 6 AM TO RESPOND TO A CALL OF A CHIMNEY FIRE... BUT, ON THE WAY TO THE STATION... HER HONDA LOST CONTROL ON LANDIS AVENUE, STRUCK A GUARDRAIL, AND SHE WAS KILLED. RETURNING FROM THE FIRE, THE CREW WENT TO THE CRASH SCENE... NOT KNOWING AT FIRST IT WAS NATALIE.
