The Response to Today's GDP Numbers

Emel Akan, the Washington Correspondent for The Epoch Times has been tracking the response to the GDP numbers.  In the interview, she told us the growth wasn't based on increased government spending. Government spending fell in the 3rd quarter as the CARES Act expired, and it was consumer spending that drove the growth.  This is a positive sign. But consumer spending may start to slow as stimulus dries up. It seems the positive numbers weren't enough to bring the presidential candidates together.
